Event: Hershey Track & Field Meet
Host: Poulsbo Parks & Recreation
Location: North Kitsap High School Track
Time: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Details: This district meet qualifies first and second place winners in their events for the State Meet in Olympia on June 28, 2008. Participants ages 9-14 can participate in three events. Events include 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 meter runs, a 4x100 relay, standing long jump and softball throw. Pre-registration is preferred and the event is free!

Event: The Jewel Box Poets Sunday Reading Series

Details: The Jewel Box Poets Sunday Reading Series focuses on contemporary poetry and features two regional poets on the third Sunday of each month. The series is upbeat, energetic and entertaining. Following the readings there will be "open mic" time for those who bring a poem to share with the audience.
