ICW is pleased to announce that International Championship Wrestling has been chosen as a partner with National Free Comic Book Day for Kids on May 3rd. This honor, bestowed upon ICW Pro Wrestling is the first given to a non-comic store or event. ICW will be passing out 200 free comic books to the kids in attendance. This is just a small amount of the millions of comic books nationwide to be given out that day. ICW Wrestler Iron Buddah will read to the kids at this very interactive event. That evening all the wrestling matches will be held inside a steel cage with all the promotions titles at stake. Bremerton wrestler The Chef will also be a big part of this event. Chef is a fixture in the local community and has helped raise money and help the needs of locals with his wrestling companies event. Some of the wrestlers featured in this event besides Iron Buddah and the Chef will be Dash Venture, Dean Da Drifter, Streetfighter Tim Flowers, Randy Taylor, Red Rum, The Monster Nation and many others. Doors will open at 7 pm on May 3rd with the first bout getting underway at approximately 7:30 pm.

Details: The Brinnon ShrimpFest is a weekend festival celebrating Hood Canal Spot Shrimp and other local seafood. We feature craft booths, food booths, belt sander races, exhibits, live music, kids activities and so much more. Bring along your favorite decorated belt sander to enter the races that will be held at 1:00 pm each day. The tides are usually low enough during this weekend for easy harvest of clams and oysters on the public beaches near the festival, (license required) and the weather is traditionally good during this holiday weekend. This is great family fun and it's FREE too! Come join us this year. ShrimpFest will again be in the grassy field on the north side of the Dosewallips River on the East side of Highway 101. Proceeds from ShrimpFest 2008 will be donated to community projects.
